Community Members Challenge Legislators to Do Better

 Los Angeles – Today, the day after Governor Davis revealed his proposal to tackle the state’s projected $35 billion budget deficit, Assemblyman Mark Ridley-Thomas (D-Los Angeles) hosted the first 48^th Assembly District Empowerment Congress Town Hall Meeting at the California Science Center.  Several members of the Los Angeles Assembly delegation attended the event as did various community organizations and 300 members of the public.
