College Bound is committed to making sure that our youth are prepared for college and for life. I have worked with Johnnie Savoy and the College Bound family for nearly a decade and I always leave the Rites of Academic Passage event on a high. Why? Because the baton pass is so beautiful!

The highlight, for me, this year was when actress Jurnee Smolett -- The Great Debaters, Eve's Bayou awarded Elgin Scott with a full scholarship to Wiley College.
